Furnace Engineering & Equipment
Ltd. offer a wide range of engineering services to the heat treater or maintenance
engineer, specialising in controlled atmosphere furnaces and associated plant
of most types and manufacture.
Established in 1990,
having experience within the industry of over twenty years, the company's main
activity continues to be in providing experienced service personnel to carry
out routine and emergency visits on customers' plant. This encompasses atmosphere
and sealed quench furnaces, tempering furnaces, endothermic and exothermic producing
generators, atmosphere gas analysis and process control systems.
Furnace repairs,
including a full range of refractory repairs from minor damage to full relines
are undertaken, where a package is offered to also mechanically dismantle, reassemble
and commission prior to production. Heat resistant fabrication repairs are undertaken
together with the supply of new fabrications for most makes of furnace.
Furnace Engineering
also offer the facility to refurbish heat treatment plant, both on and off site.
Refurbishments include the replacement of combustion or electric heating systems,
rebricking, conversion to a safer quench oil cooling system, where applicable,
and a full mechanical overhaul. Outdated control panels, instrumentation and
atmosphere control systems can be updated or replaced.
Quality used furnaces
and associated plant, refurbished if necessary, can be supplied as an alternative
to the high cost of purchasing new. Complete heat treatment plants can be moved
from one location to a new site, a service offered as a complete turnkey project
involving consultation, dismantling, transportation, rebuilding and commissioning,
including installation of all services.
A comprehensive spare
parts service is also available including such stock items as nickel chrome
fabrications, conveyor chains, atmosphere circulating fans and catalyst. Whatever
